A safe way to meet people

Some people are very hesitant of ways to meet other people. There is a really fun and safe way to do that in this day and age. There is a place out there called Crush or Flush. This is a really safe way to meet or keep in touch with people from either your cell phone or your computer. Personal information is not given out by anyone and it is totally safe. If your interested you click on the link below, create a profile, and there you have it. On your profile you can be as creative as you wish and even upload a picture of yourself. You can search for people by gender, age, or even interests. I'd say give it a shot. Why not, what do you have to lose?

Virtual Calling Cards vs. Prepaid Calling Cards

The new and exciting calling features out there are the virtual calling cards and services. The claim is out there that the virtual calling cards are just like the prepaid claiings cards. Well, if they are the same then why are the disadvantages to using the virtual calling cards. The virtual calling card is based on the principle of you pay as you use it. Prepaid calling cards are self explanatory. You pay ahead of time for the minutes that to use. Now, I do not want to assume, but people tend to use more than what they anticipate. So if you are trying to spend only a certain amount of money for long distance, why wouldn’t you set your limit before calling? It seems to be so easy to lose tack of how many minutes you are talking and how much you are paying for those minutes. People get side tracked so easily. It is a known fact. Another key factor that that virtual calling card services do not advertise up front is that the rates are higher than prepaid calling cards. Not just a little bit but quite a bit. Why would you want to pay more money to do something one way? That does not make any sense and it is just not practical.

Tupperware

I heard two ladies talking today and the word Tupperware came up. Now there's a word I haven't heard since I was a kid. I remember my mom used to have Tupperware parties. So I checked out one of their websites. I could not believe that it was till around. I thought it went by the wayside. I was checking out the prices. The have a sets that range from $3.00-$300.00. I didn't know you cold bid on them like eBay. I thought you had to go through someone who sells it. Check out some of the latest things at:

Fisher Price Toys

I was looking at the Fisher Price Toys website today and the first line of the website says something similar to they the most trusted name in quality toys. That's a pretty bold statement. I can't remember walking into a toy store and going straight for the Fisher Price Toy's aisle. Truth is, I went for what type of toy I was looking for. Other companies have better price and honestly more attractive looking items. Now that is a grown-ups opinions, not a child's. I guess I'm just one of those parents who don't' go by name brand alone. Some parents are, I'm not just one of them.

A Sentimental 40th Birthday Gift

I have been thinking a lot lately of how special family is. Family is one of those things that you always cherish. My parents currently reside in the "retired" age bracket and every year it gets more difficult to come up with a unique gift or idea that is bigger and better that something I have done before.

During my search I came across really cool idea that I want to share. It's called Life On Record. This could be used for any occasion or event. You could use it to document a new birth in the family, a silver or gold anniversary, or even one of the monumental birthdays. The best part I think is that it is completely personable. I mean how cool is that? This great for families where people are located all over the country. People just call in and leave their personal message and there is no limit to how many messages can be left or how many people can call. It's that simple!Another cool option is that it can be downloaded to your computer and burned for everyone to keep or it can be download to your MP3 player. I mean really, how cool it this?

I encourage everyone to check out Life On Record at their website and consider this personalized greeting for your next birthday or anniversary gift. Just clink on the link below:

Oh, if parents only knew....

Children keep secrets from their parents. Its known and proven fact. My boys do it. I did it. My parents did it. Their parents did it and so on. This is something children just do. They do it for numerous reasons. It may be out of embarrassment or shame, fear or ridicule, or just even out of surprise. Fact is, we all keep secrets and we all have secrets to keep. We usually have secrets because of the shame we would feel if someone found out or the ridicule we would get from others if the secret was made public. Whatever the reason, the is a reason it is called a secret.

Recently I came across a secret that didn't fall too far from my tree. Here is a young girl that kept a secret job from her parents. For what reasons the secret was kept I do not know. But that's not the point. The point is this girl had a reason for keeping her secret. It doesn't what her motives were behind it. That's her business. This girl actually had the courage to reveal her secret and get it off of her chest. That takes guts. Most of us keep our secrets because we are scared or afraid. Truth is, our secrets are what keep us sick. Oh how would I love to cleanse my soul of all of my secrets, but I don't. If I only felt that I had the guts of this young lady to reveal some of my secrets.

I look up to her really. I give her a lot of credit. Credit I feel she deserves. What courage she had to reveal her secret job. I think if we all could just start with relieving one secret we would be much happier people.
